The primary goal of smart and connected vehicles is to keep passengers and citizens safe on the road. In-vehicle technology creates an opportunity to protect against human error or infrastructure failure. While most passengers believe that security is built into in-vehicle technology, there is still fear of possible risks. Could personal information be tracked? Could the vehicle be remotely hacked? What happens if the technology malfunctions?
This session will explore the unique security challenges facing the automotive ecosystem. Featuring automotive ecosystem players, this discussion will address specific security concerns and strategies for building trust with consumers.
