Based in Washington D.C., Ed Engles is a Managing Director in Accenture’s Communications, Media & Technology industry group. Ed’s major focus is on helping Accenture’s global Communications Industry clients transform their Marketing, Sales and Customer Service functions, and he plays a leading role in Accenture’s Customer Insight & Growth Strategy development.
As part of his client management responsibilities, Ed leads Accenture’s participation in the award-winning Verizon Wireless Enhanced Customer Engagement program. Bringing together diverse teams of Accenture experts from the Strategy, Consulting, Digital, Technology and Operations businesses, this program won the AI & Automation Initiative of the Year category in the Global Telecoms (“GLOTEL”) awards, which recognize innovation in advancing and transforming today’s telecom industry.
Ed plays an active role in the career and people development initiatives for Accenture recruits in the Washington D.C. area. He has a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) qualification in Marketing & Management from Loyola University, Baltimore. In his spare time he enjoys travelling, tennis, golf and spending time at the beach with his husband Michael and their dog.
